Hyperpolarised Nitrogen 15 Detection

The figures below: (a) conventional NMR and (b) DNP NMR are natural abundance 15N acquisitions of urea at 415 µmol (25mg)*.

The conventional spectrum was acquired over 120 hours (100,000 scans), and the DNP NMR spectrum acquired in a single scan, after 4 hours polarisation.

Signal enhancements comparing DNP and conventional NMR are 2000.
